SHAWNEE MILLING COMPANY 15th ANNUAL RECIPE CONTEST

In honor of our State’s 100^th Anniversary, the theme of the annual Shawnee Milling Company bake contest was “This Is Not Your Grandmother’s Biscuit”.   

There was nothing plain about the entries this year.  Everything looked scrumptious and there was an excellent turnout for the three contests.  Jr. Pancake with 17 entries, biscuits with 7 entries and cornbread with 13 entries. 

The judges had their work cut out for them!   Whew!! That is a lot of eating
